ASO

The Aso Chair is a series of chairs made from two individual materials and one material combination. With this series, we explore seating furniture in the context of churches for the first time. The design was inspired by a visit to the church in Auvers-sur-Oise, a place rich in history and art. Instead of heavy, long pews, the Aso Chair offers a modern and minimalist alternative. The shape of the seat deliberately references traditional church benches. At the same time, the chair is easy to assemble and disassemble. The design combines traditional forms with functionality.
