The annual motto of the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden (SKD) 2025, inspired by Georges Perec's work 'Dreams of Spaces' ('Träumen von Räumen'), focuses on how spaces influence our lives. Perec reflects on the connection between the places we inhabit and our memories, habits and identities. In the coming year, the SKD will address the question of which spaces are created for our memory and current challenges - and which are accessible to the public.
